  7. From the patient side of the 
  8. instrument you will see a ring 
  9. of green lights, a central 
  10. viewport, and four projectors.

  12. The outer ring of green lights 
  13. are reflected off the cornea so 
  14. the operator can visually 
  15. inspect the cornea and detect 
  16. distortion or large amounts of 
  17. astigmatism.  They are not used 
  18. in the actual measurement.
